Florida Uncorked Cycling Camp

In days of old, when bike riders were bold,
and a fixed gear was all they'd need,
with lots of torque they attached a cork,
and rode away with speed.

Florida Uncorked is a cycling camp geared towards all levels of cyclists who have a passion for new experiences and challenges. Although Florida isnt high country, you'll surely pop your cork at this camp. We chose central florida as our basecamp for some of the best cycling roads in the state. Each day you will enjoy full pro level support with a following vehicle stocked with sports nutrition and spare wheels. Coach Matt will lead each ride with a relaxed attitude and offer on-the-road coaching and assistance. Also, each day, Coach Matt will take you thru a self massage recovery class, and other topics, specifically geared towards enhancing the cycling lifestyle.

Often our groups split into smaller groups of like abilities and preferences. The rides will vary in length, and intensity. We will provide you with pre-ride instructions and a cue sheet, however, the best way to enjoy your time would be to get with another rider wanting to go your pace and ride together. Its your camp, so lets have fun.

Location: Central Florida

Dates: April 2-4, 2011 - 3 days / 2 nights (Friday-Sunday)

Cost: $249/person (1-2 per room), 100.00 deposit at booking.

Camp Schedule:

7:00 PM – Check In / Dinner / Social time
8:00 PM – Camp Goals / Self massage / Injury Prevention Class

7:00 AM – Breakfast / Pre ride coaching and profile
8:00 AM – 4 hours (30 / 56 miles) with Sugarloaf, Buckhill, The Wall and more.
1:00 PM – Lunch / Classroom skills class / bike adjustments / Q&A
3:00 PM – Wine Tour & Tasting Excursion
7:00 PM – Dinner / social time.
8:00 PM – Self massage / Injury Prevention Class

7:00 AM – Breakfast / Pre ride coaching and profile
8:00 AM – 1.5-2 hour ride (20-30 miles) on local trails
11:00 AM – Lunch.
12:00 PM – Camp ends.
