Privacy policy

This policy explains what On Your Mark Performance Center collects when you use oymbike.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have about it.

Security

Orders placed with OYM are encrypted using HTTPS and SSL technology. Information sent over the internet is encrypted to protect access to communications and transactions. We never see or store your full card number — payment details go straight to our payment processor.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect what we need to fill it: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order. Payment itself is handled by our payment processor, which tells us that a payment succeeded and gives us the last few digits of the card, never the whole number.

When you sign up for our newsletter, our text list, a group ride or one of our clubs, we collect what that form asks for — usually your name, your email address, and your phone number if you asked to hear from us by text.

When you are just browsing, our store platform records ordinary technical information: which pages you looked at, the site or search that sent you to us, your approximate location from your IP address, and your browser and device type. We use this to understand how the store is performing, not to work out who you are.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working from page to page, to keep you signed in, and to measure how the site is performing. Some are strictly necessary and the store cannot function without them; others are analytics cookies that tell us which pages and products people actually use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you do, parts of the store — including the cart and checkout — may stop working.

Email and text messages

We use Klaviyo to send our newsletter, ride and event announcements, club updates, and the occasional offer, by email and by text message. We only send these to people who asked for them.

You can stop at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. For text messages, reply STOP to any message to be removed, or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Opting out of marketing does not stop the messages tied to an order you actually placed — order confirmations, shipping notices and pickup notifications.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the services that make the shop run, and only with what each one needs to do its job:

• Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders
• Our payment processors, which handle the transaction itself
• Klaviyo, which sends the emails and texts you signed up for
• Shipping carriers, which need your address to deliver your order
• The chat window on our site, if you start a conversation with us
• Google reCAPTCHA, which keeps spam and bots off our forms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our customer or subscriber lists. We will not disclose information about a customer without express permission, unless releasing it is necessary for a trusted service provider to carry out something you asked us for, or unless we are required to by law, subpoena or court order.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to service your purchase, honor warranties, and meet our accounting and tax obligations. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch and we will take care of it. We may still need to keep records of completed orders where the law requires it.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the shop and the tools we use change. The current version always lives on this page.
