MTB Bikes: Common Questions

Hardtail or full suspension?
A hardtail (front suspension only) is lighter, simpler and less expensive, and it's plenty for most South Florida trails. Full suspension adds comfort and control on rough, rooty or technical terrain. Test ride both and you'll feel the difference.
What size mountain bike do I need?
Every brand sizes a little differently, so start with the brand's size chart for your height, then confirm with a test ride. We'll check the fit with you in the shop.

Buying a Bike from On Your Mark

Can I test ride a bike before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Come by the showroom at 821 Federal Hwy in Lake Park (Mon–Fri 10–6, Sat 10–4) and ride the bikes you're considering. If you're after a specific model or size, call (561) 842-2453 before you come.
Do bikes come assembled? Do you ship?
Bikes bought in the shop leave fully assembled and ready to ride. We also prepare and ship bikes: bikes bought online arrive partially assembled.
Is the first tune-up really free?
Yes. The first tune-up on a bike you buy from us is free. New bikes settle in over the first few weeks of riding as cables stretch and parts bed in, so bring it back once you've put some miles on it. What a tune-up covers
Can I finance a bike?
Yes. Financing is available through Synchrony Bank. See financing options
What warranty comes with a bike?
Every bike is covered by its manufacturer's warranty, and the terms vary by brand. Ask us about the specific bike you're looking at.
Do you take trade-ins?
Case by case. Bring your current bike by the shop or call (561) 842-2453 and we'll take a look.
