Jaguars Tri Club to Host First Ever Camp for Area Youth
Jaguars Tri Youth Club has joined with Ultimate Speed and On Your Mark Performance Center to give you the only youth tri camp in South Florida. The camp will run July 12th through July 16th from 9-1. Only 30 applicants will be excepted. This camp is just before the NPB kids Tri(July 24th) and will get you in your best race form ever. OYM will be providing safety & equipment inspections, bike fitting, and pedalling drills for more power and speed.

Ocean Mile Swim at Carlin Park in Jupiter
For immediate release: June 1, 2010 Contact: Rob Rogerson, (561) 694-7480 Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department’s Ocean Rescue Division will host an Ocean Mile Swim Race on Saturday, July 10 at Carlin Park in Jupiter at 8:00 am. Open water swimmers from all throughout Florida will compete for overall honors and in 13 age groups. The race is limited to 300 competitors. A study in the August '08 issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine reports that keeping tabs on what you eat with a food diary can double your weight loss. Study co-author Dr. Victor J. Stevens, a senior investigator at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research, in Portland, Oregon noted that, "the more food records [study participants] kept, the more they lost." NPB Kid's Triathlon a Smashing Success
Glad we could be part of it! On Your Mark Cycling Club manned a water station, patrolled the bike course, and offered direction thru the transition area. Many thanks to Matt Steinhoff for the photographic perspective, and the many OYMCC volunteers who showed up in the dark to watch a race for once. We're already looking forward to next year.
