OYM's Ocala Mountain Bike Association (OMBA) Monthly Trail Workday

There are always trade offs...

OYM camps for free in exchange for manual labor! Yay!

No really, that's the deal, but it's not that bad. Bare with us here...

We trim the trails and aid Ocala Mountain Bike Association (OMBA) in their maintenance efforts to get ready for the Santos Fat Tire Festival coming up March 11-13, 2016 at Santos Trailhead, 3080 SE 80th Street just off of 441 between Ocala & Belleview, FL.

We do this just about every year along with a number of other monthly volunteers. The trails at this point need very little work, and besides it's fantastic camping weather!

Did we say we camp for free?

There are hot showers, toilets like you expect at home, and all your friends close by. It should be a fun, yet quick and dirty weekend. Maybe we'll get to ride some!

Here's the timeline:
Friday, Jan 8th: Show up if you wish, and ride some. (Did we mention we camp for free?)
Saturday, Jan 9th: Workday. Should take about a half day. (Somebody say "night ride?")
Sunday, Jan 10th: Ride in the morning and pack up.

OMBA supplies everything we need to maintain the trails. We just need to take care of ourselves.

Did we leave anything out? Any other questions please feel to call the shop!

Love, Peace and Bicycle Grease,

Matt & Julie
